hey guys, i am using an hp 655 laptop with an AMD E2 processor, is it possible to upgrade it to Intel processor?

Solution
No, you can't upgrade to an intel processor. You might be able to find a motherboard/cpu for that same model laptop which had an intel CPU. But, you really just have to buy a new laptop for an upgrade.

No. You will not be able to change much on any laptop. Most laptop will only let you change hdd and if you are lucky ram. Sorry to break it to you. But if you are looking for any new upgrade on computer. I would wait a bit if I were you. Amd is coming out with the new cpu which take much less power than before and much faster also "Q1 this year". You can Google it your self. If you want to go for Intel their price will be going down Caz they finally have some competitor on the market. If you are not in a hurry wait a bit longer.

Laptop upgrades are extremely limited. The direct answer to your question would be, no.
You can't use Intel processor on AMD platform, vice versa. This applies to desktop as well.

As said by gonf, you might wanna wait a bit if you are planning to get a new set-up.
