monitor wont turn on when i install gfx card

i bought gtx 1050 ti gigabyte 4gb oc edition g1 gaming as soon as i install it and tun on the pc would start wid a beep sound but the display wont turn on but when i remove the gfx card the pc would start normally as expected .... i have i5 3570k 3.4ghz 8gb kingston fury ram ..... please help.....

i did connect power connector to it gfx was running too but i didnt connect the monitor to the gfx card as i am not having the suitable cable for the gfx card .... i just connected it to the normal motherboard VGA slot .... also my board is gigabyte b75m d3h and processor is i5 3570k so is it compatible please help!!!!!

sry mate im new to this !! didnt wanted to vote it down thought it like a scroll button
new problem arised though i just turned on the pc, the pc booted showed the screen but after a while again the display went blank again i removed my gfx card again tried with the vga for onboard it did just fine the same i connected with the hdmi coverter the display again ran fine bt again after sometime monitor went black :( plz help
