Hello, I recently bought a water cooler. H100i V2 and it was working fine in till I put the top of my case back on and it just shut down. I thought i was the power supply that was broken but its not because I took it out and tested it and it works. When its plugged in to my motherboard it does not work and I receive no power and not even the fans. Is my motherboard bad or broken? Please help because I cant seem to figure it out but I think it is the motherboard. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Yes it worked but I realized that some of the cpu socket pins on motherboard were bent probably because i was pressing to hard putting my water cooler on so I just bought a better motherboard. Also I bought a new power supply. So my question is, does the computer not do anything if the motherboard socket pins are bent? Otherwise I really hope my cpu is not broken because that would cost me another 300$ for a i7.

Okay, so is the motherboard broken? I assumed so, so I just bought another better motherboard and better power supply
