enquiry of having two GPU

Hi,
i have a laptop with double GPU the first one it is a intel graphic hd 5500 and the second Nvidia geforce 920m 2go i want to know what the point of having two GPU and which one of them relies the games .

The Intel graphics are embedded into the chip and are for everyday, non-gaming use. It's a basic feature of a lot of Intel CPU's. The added Nvidia card will be more powerful, have more VRAM and is what turns the laptop into a gaming laptop. The 920m isn't that powerful by GPU standards though.
