Hello and help :)

I recently decided to upgrade my desktop. I basically ended up replacing everything besides the SSD, HDD, and GPU. Currently with everything hooked up, when I turn the power on, all the fans start up, lights turn on, it sounds like it's booting. Then about 10 seconds in the PSU fan will stop spinning, and I will hear a single beep. My hard drive stops making noise, and it gets quiet. Everything else appears to be running. My motherboard is emitting an orange light, which I assume would be green if everything was working properly. My monitor screen remains black, but there's no message stating there is no DVI signal. The monitor, GPU, SSD, and HDD all work because I was just using my old CPU yesterday. Initially, I thought it might have been the memory sticks not being in correct slots, but they are and I have reseated them multiple times. I shorted the CMOS jumper with a metal object yesterday, which brought me to the current situation. Before that, I would receive one beep, and then two beeps, and my PSU fan would start for not even a second. I'm assuming it might be bad RAM sticks (maybe incompatible? 3200 mhz sticks) or even the CPU, but I am at work so I cannot try anything else until I get home. I am simply hoping for some input or new suggestions. Here are the specs

Asus ROG Strix Z270E Gaming Desktop Motherboard - Intel Z270 Chip
Intel i7-7700k processor
Gigabyte G1 Geforce GTX 970 GPU
Corsair Vengeance DDR4-3200 Mhz
Corsair RMi Series RM1000i Power Supply 80 PLUS Gold - 1000W ($120!)
Corsair Hydro Series H100i V2 CPU Cooler
Crucial BX100 250GB SATA 6Gb/s 2.5" Internal SSD
1 TB Hard Drive (unsure of specs on this)

Let me know if you need anything else! Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Solution
Hi,
When possible, try starting the board with only CPU and CPU fan installed, both 24 and 8 pin power cables connected. No other cables/components, but the case power button. See if the radiator fans do spin and what LED stays red on the board.
