intel core i5 6600k or i7 6700 for games?

Guys should i buy an i7 6700 or and i5 6600k for gaming use?My gpu is a gtx 1060 widnforce oc 3gb. If i buy an i5 6600k will i be able to run watch dogs 2,bf1,overwatch,gta v and these type of games and get 60 fps in high-ultra resolution?

P.s sorry for bad english i am from greece

At 1080p (I assume from the 1060), then the 6600K is all you need.

The i7's hyper-threading shows some gains at 4K, but for 1080[, the 6600K is more than adequate.

No such thing I'm afraid.

The 6600K should be more than sufficient for gaming @ 1080p or 1440p for a few years. It won't be as strong at 4K, but we're still a while away from widespread 4K adoption, and your GPU won't hold up there anyway.

What's your budget? If you can spend $100 more, go with the i7 7700k. You get 4.5ghz turbo boost right out of the box and most CPUs have been recorded to overclock over 5ghz stable.

Any mobo that supports 6th gen should support 7th gen with a BIOS update.
