So my 1070 rog strix oc is running up yo 96 % when im playing and i wondered if that was dangerous? Could anyone tell what is the problem, i just have a intel stock cooler and i bought a noctua NH-D15 will that do it? Or what, i have 8gbram and 500watts power supply. Someone help!

the gpu will run at whatever % it needs for the game you are currently playing

and that gpu is pretty unlikely to over heat even at 100% unless your case has no airflow at all

no i have 144hz and i wondered should i use balanced or high performence in power settings? I seem to get more fps using high performence and does it affect the gpu any bad?

I would just use high performance it doesn't affect the GPU your fine however also assumes your have a good PSU if you have a crappy PSU you could have issues due to PSU not supply enough constant power.
