Hi all,

I've recently been having problems with my computer that I built a few years ago now. I think My Gigabyte H87-D3h motherboard may be failing.

A few days ago I've been having the computer stick at the Gigabyte logo without booting up, but this has been fixed up until now by resetting the cmos by taking the battery out. Today however, I shut down the computer and it won't give me any display at all when starting up.

I've tried resetting the cmos, and plugging the hdmi cable into the motherboard output instead of the graphics card. I'm at a bit of a loose end at the moment.

Help is much appreciated.
Thanks

Really the only other thing you can do is start trying all your components in other computers to try and isolate the issue to being a bad board or cpu or memory and so on.

May be worth looking to see if your mobo still has a warranty.

Try a different power supply. I've had weird issues like this due to a dying power supply.

If that doesn't make a difference try only CPU+Mobo+1 stick of ram. Disconnect anything you don't need to verify those 3 components work.
