Building a new PC

I'm building a new PC partly because i can buy the Motherboard & PSU for 50% off ( Friends discount at his store). I was thinking of buying the CPU Cooler & Motherboard/Psu and just buy it bit by bit.. I was wondering if anyone can add give me advice etc? Thanks.

CPU - Intel Core i7-6800K 3.4GHz 6-Core Processor
CPU Cooler - Corsair H115i 104.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
Motherboard - Asus X99-A II ATX LGA2011-3 Motherboard
RAM - Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR4-3000 Memory
SSD - Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
GPU - EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 8GB Superclocked Gaming ACX 3.0 Video Card
Case - Phanteks ECLIPSE P400 ATX Mid Tower Case
PSU - SeaSonic S12II 520W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply

Nice build not a fan of that PSU.

Seasonic G 550W would be a better choice.

the 520W will be a bit weak if you want to oc heavily
I'd go with a 550W unit that can really deliver that or the 620 if possible
it's a nice build.
see if you can get the P400S instead of the regula P400. shouldn't be more than 10$ extra

S12II series is just so so , not a fan of them.

They're great options for budget builds with non-k CPU's. They're not modular, they're becoming pretty old too. I wouldn't pick one with a high-end system like this either.

The platform itself is outdated , not a good option to power the newer platforms.

They are very cheap , they will be gone from the market soon.

They already phased out some of the older XFX models.
