I currently have the above setup and am playing Verdun, Insurgency, Day of Infamy etc with a little bit of stutter. I use a PS4 for bigger titles like BF1 and GTAV. I am considering an i7-6700k, but would that improve current gaming performance and allow me to play bigger titles? I also intend to slowly upgrade the system piece-by-piece over the years. This is my first build and was completed in July 2016, and this would be the first upgrade.
