Hi, i have a problem.
I had an AMD XFX HD 7850 1GB CORE EDITION, i go to a computer repair store because a problem with wifi, they took my pc and they broke the video card accidentally, they paid a new one, its exactly the same, my PC recognize it as a HD7850 1GB, in the video card it says 7850 but it never gave me the same performance as the older one, and when i see videos in youtube people get more fps than me.

My specs:
- i5-2500k
- 8GB RAM 1333mhz dual channel (its 1600 but there is a limitation with the processor i think..)
- Asus p8h77-m pro
- XFX AMD HD7850 1GB

What could be the problem? drivers are up to date and i clean install windows 10 and still the same. Thanks in advance.

Solution
It could be clock speeds. The standard HD 7850 has certain core and memory speeds. Your first 7850 may have been set to other speeds. This new 7850 may be set to other speeds. Try running something like MSI Afterburner while you're running a game and see what speeds you currently get while gaming. Then compare to the specs on the AMD website.

edit: standard core clock is rated at 800Mhz, the XFX was rated at 860Mhz

Hi, thanks for the answer. I couldn't find the number of cores in GPU-Z, and i can't remove the cooler because i'm about to sell it so i want to keep it like it was never opened. But i did clean install (with the new option clean unistall) the drivers and it boost fps on bf1 in ultra from 4 to 30-40, pretty weird, i clean installed windows 10 and the problem was there. Anyway i don't know if its giving me the same performace since the only game i could compare is battlefield 4 and i unistalled it. Thanks a lot anyway! and sorry for my english.
