Hello,
I bought a generic intel x79 motherboard. Got everything setup and the computer is running great. However, when I put the computer to sleep, the fan keeps spinning. I think that is the s1 sleep mode.
I have been researching on how to change the sleep mode to s3 with no luck.
The manual came with the board is useless. And the bios does not have this setting.
The CPU-Z gave the model number as Intel X79 only.
I think there might be a jumper setting on the physical motherboard itself to change the sleep from s1 to s3. But I don't know how to identify it. Below is the board that I bought from ebay. Please help! Thanks in advance!
