GTX 1080 Ti Release Date?

Solution
1080Ti it self should not influence 1070 and 1080 pricing.
It is more likely, that the prices of GTX1070, 1080 and 1080Ti depend on how AMD new gen GPUs perform and are priced.
e.g. (wishful thinking) If AMD's GPU like the one used during CES demo is priced below GTX1070, nVidia will be forced to lower down those 1xxx cards.

best rumor?

I'd also investigate/wait for VEGA.

I'd also investigate getting an asynchronous monitor (GSYNC for NVidia, Freesync for AMD).

*I'd much, much rather have a weaker GPU but an asynchronous monitor than have a better GPU but normal monitor. IMO a GTX1070 + GSYNC monitor is probably a better experience overall than a GTX1080Ti + non-GSYNC monitor.

(sounds silly until you study what's going on... you don't have to maintain an FPS cap like minimum 60FPS with VSYNC to avoid screen tear so right there you can have 60FPS AVERAGE, not 60FPS minimum... and that's less sluggish as well as VSYNC adds latency)

Yep. Pretty sure. Thus, I have nothing to report.

Heck, some people think it won't even happen. I doubt it, but it's not impossible.

AMD's product timeline may have an impact, though these things take a LONG time to plan (GPU design, tape-out, reserve GPU production... ) so it's pretty hard to change unless you simply CANCEL everything.

I doubt that as they can simply change the price. The ONLY reason I can fathom to not do this is if YIELDS are too low thus pricing far too high even for a product like this. That doesn't appear to be the case based on the fab process currently as I understand it.

I wouldn't expect more than 20% FPS than a GTX1080 anyway but the cost might be crazy. (can't wait until multi-GPU via SFR finally makes sense... at least two years).

but... if I had to guess?
