What are some good but (relatively) cheap CPU coolers?

Someone told me that the hyper 212 would be good enough since I don't plan on OCing, but is that really true? What are some other options?

I7 7700 and gtx 1070

Coolermaster, Zalman and Thermaltake all make a good cooler for your CPU. I absolutely agree with herwizo, that the Hyper 212 would work just fine in your application. I subscribe to a little different belief in that your cooler will/should dictate the performance and life span of your CPU. There's a few excellent CPU coolers in this article. At the end of the day, budget will dictate your choice.
