GTX 1060 and FX6300 OC TO 4GHZ

So i know there is alot of threads like this but i have never gotten a clear answer.

So i have overclocked my amd fx6300 To 4GHZ and i was wondering if it will be a bottleneck with the 1060 card? if so, are there any solutions other than buying a new cpu?

All depends on what game you are playing. Some will bottleneck, others won't. You might be able to get a higher overclock. Other than that, not a lot you can do other than a different CPU/Mobo.

I have an fx8350@4.5GHz and an EVGA 1060 SC 3GB and I get a very slight bottleneck on some more CPU intensive games(on GTA V for an example i get 5 to 10 fps lower than a 6700k) so yea you could see some bottlenecking but everything should be competly playable on 1080p on medium and high at and above 60fps.
