PC freezing and/or crashing while playing games

I have encountered an issue where my PC freezes and either recovers while crashing the game im playing or i have to restart the whole PC. It only happens when im playing video games. I took a picture of my monitor when it happened (http://prntscr.com/dty84z). The freeze happens randomly and not always.
My specs:
CPU: AMD FX -6100 Six-Core
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580
Board: ASRock 990FX Extreme3
OS: Windows 8.1 Professional (x64)
PSU: 850w
Memory: Hyper x ssd 120gb and Hdd 500 gb
RAM: 8150 Megabytes Usable Installed Memory
Slot 'A1_DIMM0' is Empty
Slot 'A1_DIMM1' has 4096 MB (serial number 532D6F4A)
Slot 'A1_DIMM2' is Empty
Slot 'A1_DIMM3' has 4096 MB (serial number 552D5D4A)

I've had the same issue for the past few months and unfortunantely I haven't solved it yet but I've come to the conclusion that its most likely the powersupply which is causing the issue. I've tried many things such as reseating the ram, resetting windows, reseating the graphics card, replugging in the power cables and they all did not end up fixing the issue so its most likely a problem with your powersupply.

I would say to test another powersupply with your system, maybe one thats atleast 600w so you can run everything almost similar to yours currently. I have yet to purchase a new psu for my own test but I definitely will be doing it soon. Hope you can find the solution to your problem
