sandisk extreme pro usb 3.0 128 GB very slow

Hi
I have a speed problem with Sandisk Extreme Pro usb 3.0.
My System. 4790K OC @ 4.4GHz (permanent), Asus Maximus Hero VII, 16 Gb 2130 ADATA RAM, 500 GB Samsung SSD.
Just purchased this PSSD and tested right away with HD Sentinel and CrystalDiskInfo - both failed, will exchange a drive for SMART failure.

SMART reports

From CrystalDiskInfo
Health Status : Bad (0 %)
E8 __0 100 __5 000000000000 Remaining Life

From HD Sentinel PRO
Failure Predicted - Attribute: 232 Spare Blocks Remaining
Replace hard disk immediately.
The TRIM feature of the SSD is supported and enabled for optimal performance.

It is recommended to backup immediately to prevent data loss.

232,Spare Blocks Remaining,5,0,100,Pre-Failure: Data loss predicted,0,0,Enabled

232 -attribute number.

So I guess I am not lucky this time, so I decided to check the speed, just in case and was surprised by the results

I did not reformatted yet, as I suppose to return it tomorrow, so it is in Fat32 format as shipped from the store. Label said 260 MB/s READ and 240 MB/s WRITE. I understand that my results can be lower, but not that much lower.
Is this because the drive is failing (SMART) or something else?

Any Ideas or suggestions?

Appreciate in advance for anything.

I would have a good look in the bios of the motherboard in the advanced bios menus and setup options Kisianik.

I know with my Asus board that supports fast charging of usb connected devices such as a phone ect via a cable by default are turned off in the bios and have to be enabled.

Plus formatting of the drive and the type of format does matter and effects the final speed result .
Daft as it sounds but usb super speed if the option for it exists in the motherboard bios is enabled.
Or any 3.0 or 3.1 device compatibility is enabled.

And the flash drive is connected to a usb port of the system case that has a blue plastic colored tongue or key peg ?

Thanks for showing interest here.
I doubt it PC related, but let me check my external WD Helium 8TB drive, will post now.

Speed seems to be OK for 5400RPM USB 3.0 HDD. Formatted NTSF.

I checked Amazon reviews for the flash drive and everyone reported speed above 200 mb/s, at least I did not see anything below a 100 mb/s?!

This is my older 16GB USB 3.0 Patriot drive

That is why I am here.

Major update, hence new post.

Got a replacement. This time SMART is OK, which is good.

And now I have to decide, which format to keep EXFAT or NTFS?
Any ideas, anyone?
P.S. I am planning to use it as transport drive with all file sizes, could be thousands of small files or bunch of huge files?
?
