Okay , everyone! Hi, i'm new to the community! First post here, so first of all i have a few questions 1) i5 4460 WITH GTX 960 or WITH GTX 1050 Ti? 2) [Debatable, cause i have 2 month left for saving up] oh, i can also go for an i5 4460 with GTX 970. 3) i5 4460 GTX 1050 Ti 4) i5 6500 GTX 1050 or even lower. Games i'll be playing, ArmA 3 {No need for Ultra} GTA V, DayZ, Chivalry, GMod, Counter Strike, Flight Simulator X.. etc mostly CPU Intensive, i need help deciding, thanks!

{Note: Please remain to the Subject, i already understand that i can easily go for a i5 6600k or a i7 6700k, if i could have easily done that, i wouldn't have asked this question, Cheers!}

Solution
I'd suggest going for i5-4590 and GTX 960.

i5-4460 vs i5-4590: http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i5-4460-vs-Intel-Core-i5-4590/2310vs2604

I have i5-4590 and GTX 760 (predecessor of GTX 960) in my Haswell build (full specs in my sig) and i can play today's games on high settings at 1080p with good ~60FPS just fine.

Going with Intel's 4th gen CPU means that build uses cheaper DDR3 RAM. With Intel's 6th gen CPU, you have to use more expensive DDR4 RAM.
Also, i5-4590 performs same as i5-6500 does,
comparison: http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i5-6500-vs-Intel-Core-i5-4590/3513vs2604

Btw, GTX 960 is slightly better than GTX 1050 Ti,

But if you plan on going with GTX 970 then i suggest you go with GTX 1060 3GB instead,

GTX 1060 3GB is slightly better than GTX 970 while being far more cheaper. Note: GTX 1060 3GB GPU has the best price to performance ratio there is (e.g best value).

Okay, great!

Well here are 2 things i am keeping in my mind

one of these two:
i5 6500
8GB DDR4 2400 Mhz
Gigabyte GA-H110M-S2PH

or the Haswell
i5 4590
8GB DDR3 1600 Mhz
ASUS H81M-V3

The pros of Haswell:
I can save more money to get a Better GPU Even
Cons: Not AS Good for the Upgradeability DDR3

Cons of the Skylake:
A Bit more expensive, will go for a cheaper card
Pros: Upgradeability, and DDR4

The difference between the cards are, Either a 960 [1050 Ti or anything, depending on the Price] VS 970 [With haswell]
If i can find a cheap price.

Cheers.

About your Skylake build:
There's no point going with 2400 Mhz RAM since MoBo supports only 2133 Mhz RAM. If you put the faster RAM into the MoBo then it will be automatically downgraded to 2133 Mhz. There's no damage to RAM or MoBo due to this but in my opinion, that's waste of potential performance and money (if 2400 Mhz RAM is more expensive than 2133 Mhz RAM).

About Haswell build:
Actually you can upgrade it as well as Skylake build. For example, best Skylake CPU is i7-6700. Best Haswell CPU is i7-4790.
Comparison between the two: http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i7-4790-vs-Intel-Core-i7-6700/2293vs3515

Even when you update your BIOS on your Skylake H110 MoBo to be able to use Kably Lake CPUs, the best Kably Lake CPU is i7-7700.
i7-4790 vs i7-7700: http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i7-4790-vs-Intel-Core-i7-7700/2293vs3887
Best Kaby Lake CPU is only slightly better than best Haswell CPU.

As far as DDR3 1600 Mhz vs DDR4 2133 Mhz goes, there is slight gain in performance. DDR4 shines when you go with Z-series MoBo and faster than stock speed of DDR4 (2133 Mhz). E.g 3000 Mhz. Other than that, DDR3 RAM will do just fine.

I think you'd be better off with Haswell build. This way, you can invest into a better GPU while still having good upgrade ability.

Great solution mate, you potentially saved me F Ton of money :D

I Agree also, cause i heard alot of reviews bout skylake vs Haswell, and haswell wins with the price wise, and i agree, the GTX 970 would be helpful a bit more with other games, :) Cheers mate!
