Hello, I wanted to upgrade my old computer's memory to 8GB to do some video editing......
So I checked Memory QVL of Gigabyte GA-G41M-Combo(Rev. 2.0) and they says it is compatible with following 4GB DDR2 Module with dual channel mode.

Samsung M378T5263AZ3-CF7 4GB module(with dual channel it'll be 8GB).

But, the RAM I am trying to buy from eBay listed this as AMD Desktop Memory.

Please help me to ensure will this work or not.

Gigabyte GA-G41M-Combo Mainboard supports max of 2 x 4 GB DDR2 or DDR3.

Better to go with DDR3 memory than DDR2.

Compatibility with High-Density memory is less compared to the Low-Density memory. While the specs of the eBay link is compatible, one cannot be sure that it will definitely work. You might have to check with the seller for an assurance. I would highly suggest to go for the Low-Density memory.

You can purchase from that website or any other website based on the specs listed.
