Does it matter if you download installations to your HDD and install them to your SSD?

Just wondering this. By installation I mean installations of programs and video games. I'd like an explanation too, if possible.

Ditto what SR-71 said..

Basically, you are downloading to storage... that could be anywhere.. in this case it's the HDD.

The choice of where you would like to install, is usually made during the install.

TL;DR

It's fine!
