Hi,

So I've been searching all over the internet trying to find a solution to my problem. I've recently built a new computer, and after the first boot I installed my Windows 10. I decided to try and overclock through the bios (it has a auto setup that enables a slight (but very stable) OC to no more than a 200 MHz increase.) The next time I booted my PC, I get 1 fairly long beep followed by 2 quick (not sure if this is good or not), but it spiralled into the Whea_Uncorrectable_Error. I then decided to clear my SSD, because I thought it was infected of some sort (Yes, I know, not the best choice) using the Asus Secure Erase feature in the bios. I was now left with no OS, 2 empty SSD's and the error still occurred, but now it occurs when I try to install Windows (7, 8.1, 10 - you name it), so I cannot use any tool (that I am aware of) to analyze the error, because it only says "WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR" and that's it - no code.

The BIOS works without problems, and I've attempted updating it with no results. It is only when I try to install Windows that the error appears.

So I am left with no choice, and I have no idea, what the problem is. My CPU is 24 degrees, my motherboard is 23. On top of that, my GPU works just fine, but the fans only spin on boot, after that they stop. I assume that's a feature that'll allow them to spin if the GPU reaches a certain temp, in order to minimize noise.

The Windows OS was installed through a bootable USB drive, and the attempts after were the same. No CD was ever used.

My specs are as follows:
Intel 7700k (Arctic Liquid Freezer 240 for cooler set as exhaust on the top)
Asus Strix Z270F Gaming Mobo
Asus Strix GTX 1070
Corsair RM650x
Phanteks Enthoo Luxe TG
4 pre-installed 140 mm Phanteks fans, and 1 Noctua for bottom intake.

On top of all that, the MOBO's lightings switches up a bit (the on-board LEDs to indicate problems) and the only one lighting up occassionally is the BOOT_DEVICE_LED (Green) as well as the the one on the top right, which AFAIK only means that there is power connected, so that the RGB on the Mobo is on.

I am at a loss for what to do, and I really need help. Let me know if I missed anything, and thanks a ton in advance!

never install / use that asus gimmickware all this may be the root of all your issues all you need to install is what the motherboard needs not a drop more [chipset-lan-audio drivers ect,,, ] as you may see now that could of done you more harm then good

just K.I.S.S it keep- it -simple- silly I never install that crap not needed and can cause issues

found this said from one guy on the ''G'' '' Cons: Doesn't seem to clear CMOS automatically after boot failure. I've had to short the jumper with a screwdriver.

may look at that on yours from all the cmos restes you been doing ????

then from a ''H'' ''Also had too change the over-voltage jumper before overclocking my RAM. I had to actually go to the...

maybe when you use that easy oc thingey you had to look at thay on your ''F'' as well ???

should of just built it up and used the motherboard drivers only needed manually set your parts in the bios [like memory xmp ] nothing fancy no ocing just normal base stuff . and test run it a few days to insure stability then try what ever

and as far as thet ginmmicware I never install or use it just something to add to issues if not right and its not needed for the boards operation in any way to start with
and for all you now know when you used it to oc it may of damaged something ??????

good luck
