I know Gigabyte posted BIOS updates for all their 100-series chipset to support Kaby Lake.

I'm building a work PC with said MBO and an i5 (7400, 7500, 7600).

I'm wondering that if the MBO doesn't come with the latest BIOS, would I be able to boot with a Kaby Lake CPU in order to flash the update?

Or should I first put a Skylake CPU, flash BIOS, then replace it with Kaby Lake?

Is anyone familiar with the procedure?
