Hello Guys,
I recently bought a few new components:
MB: MSI Z170 A-PRO
CPU: Intel i5 6600 @ 3.3
RAM: Kingston RDIMM 2133Mhz 8 GB DDR4 (KVR21R15S4/8)
PSU: BeQuiet! 600 W, 80+
Im unsing my old GPU, but it isn't related to the problem I think.
So I set up everything outside the case, installed the CPU with my Alpenföhn, put the DDR4 into the DIMM 2 Slot, as stated in the mobo manual, connected the new PSU - the minimalistic setup.
Connected everything to my monitor.
When I boot it up the EZ debug DRAM LED lights up, then after 0.5 - 1 sec the CPU LED blinks for a split second, goes back to DRAM and that repeats itself forever (or at least 5 minutes, haven't looked at it any longer yet.).
I tried reseating the CPU, tried different RAM slots, with and without GPU.
Im going to get my old PSU, see if the new one was DOA, but I doubt it.
I also tried removing the battery but it didn't help.
Any ideas?
I checked the Mobo for bent pins, and couldn't find any. Do you think it might be the CPU that needs to be replaced?
