So here is my specs right now,
FM2A88X extreme4+
AMD A10-7850K Radeon 7
GTX 660 2GB
12 GB Ram

Ive never upgraded my pc before and was wondering what i should upgrade. I know nothing about processors and having a hard time figuring if i need to ugrade mine and what would be the best choice for my motherboard. I know i want a better graphics card but if i do upgrade that what else if at all should i upgrade too.. thanks in advance for any help.

Maybe GTX 1050ti. But yeah, your CPU will just hold you back. So it's not smart buying a weaker GPU just because your CPU can't handle it...thats not how thing are done.
I say you stay put and then make a big upgrade.
To be honest you'd be better off upgrading your whole system as there's not a lot of point putting money into an FM2+ AMD platform right now. If you wanted to keep the same DDR3 RAM you could upgrade to a 4th gen Intel platform, or if not either wait to see what Ryzen offer or get a 6th/7th gen Intel board and CPU.

If you upgraded just your CPU then it could handle a slightly better GPU if you wanted to go that way for short term gains and less cost, but you already have pretty much the best CPU your board supports.

What is your budget? I can help you pick parts if you want.
For the GPU you can take GTX 1060 6gb:

For the CPU I would recommend that you wait a while because a new CPU is coming out soon (AMD Ryzen). But if you really want to upgrade now then you'll need a new motherboard and new RAM as well.
Also for storage the best combo is: HDD (1TB) + SSD (250GB).

First off... im amazed at how fast i got responses, thankyou. So if i decided to go with a gtx 1060 6gb card and wait on any other upgrades, would i be held back alot by my processor i have or would it hold up good?

So what would be the best graphics card i could get without being bottlenecked by my cpu... should i just sit tight and wait till i can upgrade my motherboard, cpu and graphics card all together?
