M.2 SSD in a PCIe x1 Slot
I'm wondering whether an M.2 SSD that has 490MB/s Reads and 460MB/s writes will be affected when used in a PCIe x1 slot (Gen 2) as one PCIe lane is 500MB/s.
Ok, well one of these should work. I wouldn't try using it as a boot drive though https://www.walmart.com/ip/IOCrest-M.2-NGFF-Slot-SATA-6G-Port-PCI-e-x1-Controller-Card-with-Standard-Low-Profile-Brackets/42597094
