So i have the disks that i need to update my drivers, but my build doesn't have a CD drive, can i put the disk in my old computer and somehow transfer the software to my new PC? I know i can download drivers online but people are telling me that the disks are better. Any solutions would be greatly appreciated, thx

Downloading the drivers from the manufacturer is usually better.
That CD was pressed 6 months ago? A year?

Download the newest ones available.

The supplied cd may not be the latest, but it should work.
You can transfer the drivers from your old pc to a usb stick and use that to install them.
Likely, you will need to do this to get at least the lan drivers for your new motherboard so you can download the rest from the internet.
Better to use your old pc to download the latest drivers to a usb stick.
