Need help with new build

Solution
I checked the RAM against the MSI compatibility list and it is listed as supported. Let's try to take out the GPU and see if you get something on the internal display. Also reset the BIOS (unplug, pop off little round button battery for a minute or two before you plug it back in and restart)

If no troubleshooting steps help in the end, there's still the possibility the BIOS just doesn't recognize the newer generation chip before we declare the board is bad. To get around that, you could see if a shop has one on hand to test with and if possible use to upgrade the BIOS, see if a buddy has one he's willing to let you test with or find another way to temporarily get access to a 6th gen chip. If that's not possible, look for a newer...
First of all, silly as it sounds, check that your monitor is plugged into the card, not the board and with one connector only.

If that checks out, reset the memory. Make sure the PC is off and unplugged from the mains, remove each stick and re-seat them.
