Specs:
Intel Core i7 6700k
PNY GeForce GTX 460 GDDR5 1GB
8gb Kingston HyperX Fury
Asus B150M-A D3
EVGA 700 Watt Bronze PSU

Ok, so, I built my PC in march. At the time I had an intel i3 and a Gigabyte mobo. For Christmas, I got my new processor and motherboard. Everything was working fine, and I was satisfied with my 60fps for gaming. Yesterday, I used 92% isopropyl alcohol to rub the old thermal paste off of my CPU and heatsink (New CPU didn't come with fan) and applied new paste. I put about the size of a pea on, and then, when I tried to start my computer, the computer ran but nothing showed up on the screen. I took the battery out of the mobo and that didn't work, so I took my whole computer apart (other than the mobo) and put it back together. Now, the same thing happens, but after a few seconds, the fans slow down, and the computer eventually just stops. Can somebody please help?

Edit: the fans slow down, but the computer keeps running.

I forgot to mention that I tested my PSU yesterday and the fan still spun.
