Like the tittle says. I'm looking at a 4gb rx 480( I only play heroes of the storm and over watch) and looking to get a graphics card. Casual gamer. Will the power supply be ok. I have a 7600k, z270 motherboard, 16gb ram. I do not plan on OCing the CPU past 4.4ghz. Nothing else in the build that is power hungry.

The i5-7600k runs at around 90w stock. The motherboard around 70w stock. The 480 around 150w stock. We have around 310w there. The rest will take around 40w more. So we are looking at a total of around 350w. 100w should suffice for the OC, keeping some headroom as well. So i think, 450w should be sufficient for the build. But still to be on the safer side, as others suggest, you can opt for a 500w.

I would personally go for something abit higher. If you are running an i7, and you plan to OC, I will get somthing in the region of 550-600W to give you some head room. Yes the 1060 is going to use less power.

If you plan to OC, rather get a higher wattage PSU to give you some head room. You do not want to stress your PSU to much.

This is just my opinion.
