Looking for a new gpu that isnt extremely expensive but has a decent jump in power. I don't mind going used if it means i will get more performance.

It will very well depend on the rest of your system, budget and what exactly is your end goal-the first couple of cards that come to mind are either the rx 480 or the gtx 1060. Great performance from both cards at a great price.
