I did make an account just to ask this, I have tried troubleshooting this myself. but to no avail.

Randomly, my monitor loses signal and will not turn back on unless i restart my computer, sometimes, i need to restart it twice. (manually) It wasnt a common occurence before and would only happen a couple times every now and then, but its happened like 5 times just today. and its starting to worry me.

I did a clean install of my graphics drivers using DDU btw, so that option is already done and has not changed the issue. A bit of backstory, I built this computer about... 2 months ago almost now. everything new even the OS. Im praying to the gods its not my GPU (if it was, am I covered under a warranty?)

one other thing to note, i have a sneaking suspicion that it may be related to the fact that I am using 2 monitors of not exactly equal resolution, (possibly just that im using 2 monitors?) even though both are set to native. One is an HP 1920x1080 monitor that connects into my mobo and the other is an Polaroid HD TV 1920x1080 (however, for some reason the corners on this display are cut off, a slight annoyance, but considering that I just prefer the HP monitor, I use it instead, gaming with cut corners is annoying as well) I mainly just use this monitor to display things running in the background that I can easily just alt tab too while im gaming such as youtube or discord etc. for the record the games that Im playing currently that ive experienced this issue with are DOOM and League of Legends (always after the loading screen of LoL when the game actually starts) also I hear a windows "sound" (specifically, C:\Windows\Media\Windows exclamation)

i do not believe its a temperature issue either, seeing as how League is one of the least demanding games you could throw at a computer and when I listen to my computer, it sounds...well quiet. this is hard to note however, as my GPU is quite beastly and the fans only turn on when its needed, and im not really pushing it that far (I can see maybe Doom would, but not league for sure) I have however, not looked at CPU temps. but again, I doubt it, im not running a lot of programs at once and my computer feels actually cool if I put my hand in front of the case which has a mesh and 4 fans in it not including the one on the CPU.

The specs are as follows:
i5 6500 CPU
GTX 1060 6GB
2x8 GB ram
750w PSU (I do not remember the brand)
H110m-E Asus motherboard
in 7 home edition x64

Event logs, that Im not 100% sure are relevant, but I figure as much info as I can give helps

If you think it's an issue with dual monitors, did you test the system with just one? Connected to the nVidia card not the onboard video. You also said you don't think it's a temperature issue, unless you actually measured them, don't assume things, install HWMonitor and check.

Also need to list the power supply brand and model, bad power supplies are one of the main reasons for failing computers.

Not sure how to send a direct reply on mobile.

I'm not sure if not using the second monitor will tell me if that is the issue, there is a trigger for this but it's not one i can readily replicate. However I will just try not using the monitor and see if it happens.
This could take some time though.

If say it were the issue, what could I do about it?

I do not believe it's the temps. But I will check the temps when I play tonight. (But what would cause that If all the fans are working)

I really don't know the brand of PSU, I got it from best buy months ago, the one I got initially was a Corsair that was defective and I went and got a new one on black Friday. Idk what it is
