I entirely gave up on this issue. So I bought a new GT 710 graphics card and installed the drivers that came with the card, after installing I experienced problems like lagging and then suddenly the screen turned black and a message came after a few seconds that read - "Display Driver NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, (Whatever my driver version) stopped responding and has successfully recovered."

After a few days my motherboard short circuited (probably due to voltage fluctuation) and my card was damaged. I sent it for repairing and they sent it totally repaired. I was expecting for the problem to be fixed but it persisted (however not so frequent as it was earlier). It generally happens when I am playing a game, first the game slows down and then it freezes and after some time screen turns black with the same frustrating message. This has been troubling me since months and I have tried everything :-

1.) Registry Fix
2.) Reinstalling New, Old and Medium Graphics Drivers.
3.) Setting the performance for Maximum

Nothing seems to help!! Any help (especially from NVIDIA) would be greatly appreciated.

My System Specs :-
G31 Motherboard (Aver-Tek)
2gb ddr2 ram
Intel Core 2 duo 2.40 ghz processor
Win 7 - 32 Bit OS

PS :- No Overclocking
