What to Upgrade first CPU or GPU ?

Hi! I I decided to get my old rig upgraded and I dont know what to upgrade first the CPU or the GPU ?
My Current Specs:
CPU: FX 6300 4.0 GHz
GPU: GT 630 2gb :/
RAM: HyperX Fury x1 8GB DDR3
MOBO: Asus M5A78L-M LX3

If I upgrade the GPU I will choose 1060 probably or will wait for the new VEGA

Assuming your PSU is strong enough, upgrade the GPU first!
FX6300 is bad but not yet that bad.
GT630 is really really really bad.

Rule of thumb.
Will your new proposed CPU be supported by current mobo?
Furthermore, your CPU seems more recent than your GPU. IF you are not a serious gamer, then go for CPU
if gaming is more of the concern, go for GPU

my psu is fsp raider 650W Silver and I will go for the GPU first And no I will not get am3 cpu

a gtx 1050 ti is about max your setup can handle properly

1060 or 1050Ti? hmm...
Do you have planning to upgrade your processor too (mostlikely along with the mobo and RAM) in the next 6-12 months?
If yes, go for 1060 without any doubts. If not, you can consider 1050Ti.

1060 6GB is clearly faster. Take a look at the RX 480 4GB/8GB too, especially if you're looking to buy a new monitor. FreeSync monitors are quite cheap nowadays.

It'll still run better than a GTX 1050 Ti in most games, plus he's upgrading his CPU in a few months apparently. I think he'll be fine.

Stop the GTX1060 vs GTX1050Ti topic, guys!
Poster already planned to upgrade his FX6300 to Skylake/Kabilake this year. GTX1060 is the better choice considering his plan.

GTX1060 6GB is the far better choice than the 3GB version.
