I Am a beginner and this is my 1st PC that I wanted to build so will this set up work :-
CPU-
Intel Core i5 6500 LGA1151 Socket 3.20GHz Processor

MOTHERBOARD-
Asus Maximus VIII Hero - LGA1151 - 6th Generation DDR4 Motherboard

HARDDISK-
WD Blue Desktop 1TB Internal Hard Drive (WD10EZEX)

GRAPHICS CARD-
ZOTAC GeForce GTX 970 4GB Graphics Card (Black)

COOLING UNIT-
Cooler Master Sedion 120 V Plus Essential CPU Liquid cooler

POWER BRICK-
Corsair VS Series VS550 - 550 Watt SMPS

CABINET-
Circle CC 830 Professional Gaming Cabinet (without SMPS) Black

RAM-
2x
Hyperx Performance Gamming Black 4 GB DDR 4 -2133 CL14 288

Will it work please answer asap

It's not compatible with the CPU sleep states , I would go with the newer CWT PLATFORM CX650M , DC-DC converters were added to help with rail stability and is compatible with sleep states.

Yeah, that would work nicely, but like SR-71 said, you should probably change out that PSU for something like a CX-600M or an EVGA or Seasonic. Also, that motherboard is pretty high end for a non K series CPU, but if you are ok with the price tag on it, then by all means. You might also want to think about adding an SSD for your OS as well, just a though.
