Good day everyone!
I'm making this thread in hopes that someone could answer a few questions for me.
I've been considering buying a new graphics card for sometime now, but I feel stuck between 2 choices. I could either buy a new RX 480 (8GB) or buy a second Radeon R9 270X (2GB) to Crossfire with my current one. I've seen people who use dual GPU's and get really good performance for the price and I just wondered if doing dual R9 270X's would be worth it since I could pick up a second one for only $80 vs the RX 480 for $240. Another question would be is if it would be better to upgrade to the RX 480, could I still use my R9 270X with it? I know both graphics cards have different chip sets, but would they still be able to work together?
My system specs are:
CPU: Intel Xeon E5-2680 (8 core, 16 thread @ 2.7ghz)
Motherboard: Intel DX79TO
GPU: PowerCooler Radeon R9 270X (2GB)
RAM: HyperX Fury DDR3 (2x 4 GB sticks) (will be getting another 8gb's soon)
PSU: Ultra LSP 650 Watt
Thank you,
flaiR
