Hello,

So i was having issues with my cpu causing my computer to BSOD. Well i saw my BIOS was 5 versions or so old, so i updated it and now i have no more problems with the CPU. Now when i boot my PC it beeps long 1 time and short 4 times then it goes to this screen
2mtu5is.jpg
and it says i have a "CPU fan error" but my fan is running fine. Also to get out of that screen i have to hit F1 to go to the setup, when i get to the setup i have to exit the setup and then it boots the OS. Everything seems to run fine except said problem.

Any help is appreciated, Thanks!

CPU: i7-4790k

Mother: Asus z87 Maximus Hero VI

Ram: 16gb gskill

GPU: NVIDIA Geforce gtx 970

Solution
Same thing happens on the other PC here. I dont worry about it. if it comes up I just press F1. And it continues

I lowered it to 200 and it didn't work, also it is not on silent mode.

Also, it has an aftermarket fan on there, which is into the "CPU OPT" and not the "CPU FAN" input on the motherboard. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it.
