So I've been playing wow for quite a while and love my occasional private servers, now the vanilla wow private server Nostalrius really made me interested and I started playing. But lately my pc has just been freezing with black screen anywhere from instant when loading into the game to 10 minutes from playing. I have no idea what is causing it and it happends with every private server I try, even different clients.
I have tried windows repair from tweakers.com, updating drivers, checking temps of my GPU and checking usage on CPU but none of these seem to help.
What happens is that my screen turns black, The sound stops and then comes back but in a very distorted way and keeps looping every 0.1 second.
My specs are:
PSU:Corsair CS750M
CPU:Intel I5-4690 3.50 GHZ
OS:Windows 10 HOME 64 bit
RAM:8192 DDR3 HyperX RAM
GPU:AMD radeon r9 290x
Motherboard:MSI Z97 GAMING 3
Now after searching around on the forums I have found some people having kinda similar problems and they said it is linked to the PSU, would this be the case for me also or is there another problem?
