So im upgrading from a amd cpu to i5 6500
AND WELL... i did an oopsie and didnt know the main difference between the two cpus...
Thing is i had also just bought 16gb (x2 8gb) hyper furry's ddr3 cards and most cpus for intel seem to be ddr4 only now.. its really frustrating..

I also have an amd r9 380 gpu..

Budget is kinda tight too..

So im trying to find a good cheap motherboard for the intel cpu preferable one with dvi-d since its the cable my screen uses.. but if necesary im willing to buy an hdmi to dvi-d adapter...

Thanks soo much to everyone for taking the time to help!

Solution
Your best bet is to sell the old motherboard, CPU and RAM and return the RAM you just purchased. Pick up a cheap B150 motherboard and DDR 2133 kit of RAM. Your graphics card will still work with the new system.

Motherboard: MSI B150M Pro-VD Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($57.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Memory: G.Skill NT Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2133 Memory ($94.97 @ Jet)
Total: $152.96
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available
