I finally got my motherboard to power up. The fans will spin for a bit then stop, then keep spinning so idk if that is bad. But I plug an HDMI from my TV to the graphics card but nothing shows up. Help? Also I dont have a monitor atm with an HDMI plugin so thats why I have to use a TV.

Solution

I had to help a friend with his new build the other day, he was having the same issue.

We had to remove the GPU (Sapphire RX 460 Nitro) and use the integrated graphics on his i3-6100/MSI H110. We installed Windows that way and then was able to install the GPU and use it.

We double checked the BIOS to ensure PCIE or PEG was selected for graphics adapter.

Its may be problem of your TV. Not the GPU. Benq VZ2250h monitor has the same problem, I'm using it. So select HDMI as your connection from GPU to TV on TV. I mean, if you use HDMI cable from your GPU to TV, then select HDMI as input on your TV. Hope this helps.

Did you select from TV software/TV UI/TV switch, HDMI as input/output on TV, after connecting from GPU/Mobo?
