I recently upgraded my PC and I am getting really weird audio lag and freezing. I'm also having trouble playing videos on youtube (using Chrome). I get an error that says "An error occurred, please try again later" and it has a static background. This happens every now and then and it's really annoying.

I just now updated my Realtek audio drivers and am still experiencing the same issues. I'm assuming it has something to do with the motherboard drivers or something of the sort.

I upgraded my:

Motherboard
CPU
GPU
RAM
water cooling

My specs are

nvidia gtx 1080
intel i7 6700k 4.0ghz
32gb corsair vengeance ddr4
gigabyte LGA1151 ddr4 mobo
corsair hydro h100i liquid cpu cooling
3TB HDD
250gb SSD

I got a very similar build to you... And i had experience some issues on chrome too...
First of everything your build is nice, But your mobo is the worst thing you possibly could do to that PC.
Despite your mobo is bad, cheap and poorly manufactured (also its from the worse brand possible "Gigabyte") it is not its fault. This issue comes when Using Chrome on i7 6700K it seems like the google devs have missed something and they seem to be working on it, But honestly i dont trust them so i went to firefox.

My build (wich is similar) is:
Nvidia Titan X P- x2
Intel i7 6700k 5.3 ghz (OC)
32 Gbs Corsair Vengance LED DDR4 3200 mhz
Asus Sabertooth z170 Mark 1
Corsair Hydro h100i Liquid CPU cooling
1 TB HDD WD Blue
1 TB SSD Samsung 960 Evo Series

Estimable
