I im having trouble running simple games like overwatch when i turn the graphics to anything but the lowest setting. here are my pc specs.

Coolmax 600W 140mm Smart Fan ATX Power Supply with single PCI-E - V-600

Seagate Desktop 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 7200RPM 32MB

Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-2400

Asus Radeon R9 380 4GB STRIX Gaming Edition

CM Hyper 212 EVO Cooler

Asus A68HM-PLUS AMD A68HM mATX FM2+ Motherboard

Cooler Master N400 ATX Mid Tower Case

Amd A10 7850k

what would i need to upgrade or change to be able to run on higher setting at 60 fps?

Solution
You should be able to disable the apu video chip in the bios settings... Thats something i would deffo do. With the dedicated gpu you have theres no reason for the integrated to be enabled, it can only cause conflict and issues. As someone else said earlier i wonder if the integrated is being utilised and affecting performance.

I would probs say that your amd a10 is a bottleneck on your system however should still be plenty enough for overwatch on high settings.

Iv recently upgraded gpu and had teething issues sorted just yesterday so id suggest the following:

Download the latest drivers

Run DDU and uninstall current and any past drivers in safe mode

Reinstall the latest graphics driver, dont bother with the manufacturer bloatware - get rid of all that and install msi afterburner to monitor temps and other bits but have amd overdrive for cpu monitoring if you havent already?... Only accurate one for amd cpus.

After reinstalling clean drivers, try playing again on high, if still having issues check amd overdrive for cpu temps and clock speed to make sure all okay, check msi afterburner for gpu temps, voltages, clock & memory etc to make sure running to full potential. Also, in windows task manager performance tab, check memory usage, hdd usage and cpu usage to make sure all are what you'd expect and report findings.

Also, is your system crossfiring with a10 inbuilt graphics or solely using the dedicated card?

Cheers

Reason i ask about your inbuilt graphics in the a10 is because i have an a10 in my laptop alongside a dedicated card and its a nightmare, its never been right. Driver constantly mess it up to the point iv had to stop it auto updating and rolled back to pretty old drivers for my laptop to even run windows 10 and basic videos stable - its not used for gaming!

Cheers

If turning up the graphics settings causes your FPS to become unplayable, the odds are it is not the CPU that is the problem, but the GPU. What I suspect may be happening, is the iGPU is what is being used, rather than your dGPU. You should use monitoring software to see what GPU is being used.
