I have an intake fan and a exhaust fan, they've both worked forever now since I've had the computer. They're both connected to case switches which these switches just turns them off/on. Anyways, to make them both work at the same time these switches need to be on HIGH settings, they have a low settings then they have a off setting.
Now, this hasn't been a problem until recently. Now when I boot the PC either fan turns on, but if I go to the switches on top and turn one out of two off/on, One fan will turn off, the other will stay on, I do this for the other switch, vise versa happens. But if I turn both switches to HIGH (which this used to make both fans turn/stay on together) nothing happens, no LED, nothing. Recently, I've been getting lucky though, I've unplugged/replugged the fans in and they'd work, maybe for a few days then I'd have to do this after a few days as when the PC would turn on after 3,4 days of me doing this, they'd stop turning on with the PC. So, recently, this hasn't been working rather I plug them in, or unplug them and try they don't turn on. Sometimes I get lucky and they will but then they turn off (both fans) half an hour later. But, as stated above, I'm still able to mess with the top switches and get one out of 2 fans to turn on. So right now I'm sitting with all the fans on besides one which can either be the exhaust or intake, I have the exhaust on.
