hi, i was wondering what type of HDD would be good for gaming. i currently have the regular Desktop HDD from seagate that i bought from best buy as i needed storage, but i wanted to know which one i should get...the ones i was looking at were either the WD Black, or Seagate Firecuda...any suggestions

Solution
I own a Black and Blue, both WD, HDDs. I have noticed no difference when I loaded games from each. Just choose a 7200rpm HDD that has the size you need( 1tb or 2tb...) and price is right. Also, if you don't already, get a SSD. This will help your system a lot.

Seagate. I had a Seagate for nearly 5 years before it crapped out on me. I replaced it with a WD drive...I'm about to send the thing back. It has been locking up on me with just Windows loaded to it...no drivers, except for my wireless card. Not the first one I've sent back either. I'll be getting another Seagate myself.
