Hello.
I have 4GB RAM DDR3 , 1333MHz. But the speed that they are running is 1067. In CPU-Z DRAM Frequency is 532.1MHz. The big problem is , before i changed my motherboard and cpu they were runing at 1333MHz but now on the new motherboard is runing at 1067. In games it feels really slow.

My other specs:
Motherboard-AS Rock H61M-VG3
CPU- intel quad core i5 3330

I tried to change the frequency in bios but nothing happend its still at 1067.

Solution
1067mHz vs 1333mHz will make little difference in performance (maybe 1 or 2 frames per second max). As for upgrading your ram, I would recommend getting 8gb or 16gb, depending on what you are doing, or what games you are running. (Most games will run fine on 8gb)

As for your graphics card, a GT740 is a fairly weak card. Graphics cards are going to make a larger difference in performance than RAM or CPU, and I would recommend getting a better graphics card more than going and spending hundreds of dollars on a better cpu or ram which will make less of a difference.

That's weird. Are you sure your ram is rated for 1333mHz? And, are you sure your motherboard supports 1333mHz ram? And by the way, ram frequency WILL NOT have much performance on games, unless you are using integrated graphics (I believe) or a AMD APU, which you aren't. You probably would be better getting a better graphics card for more performance in games.

HardwareExtreme, thanks for the post . Yes my ram is rated for 1333MHz because before to change the mainboard it was running at 1333 and actually i did a research and the ram frequency dosen`t do much in games performance . Was there a thing like "More ram is better than faster ram" i don`t know how correct is that but i will buy some more gigs just to see what is going on because its really strange . Also my graphics card is an Nvidia GT 740 1GB but its doing good.

Thanks for the response . I`ll follow your words and i`ll buy 8GB ram . About my GPU .. yea it could be a weak one but i wanted a little upgrade from GT430 with a low wallet funds , if you know what i mean. Thanks a lot for the help.
