Which memory slots are dual channel and dual channel?

Hey all,

I have a Z68XP-UD3 which supports both single channel and dual channel.

These slots are color coded with blue and yellow. Im not sure which slots are which channels. Im currently using 8gb ripjaws 1600.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

If you got two sticks, place them both in a matching color. So blue and blue or white and white.

You usually have to consult motherboard user manual for such info (downloadable from manufactures support website).
Anyway - for your motherboard to activate dual channel mode, you have to use same color ram slots.

Thanks for replies guys, I only ask as Im wanting to upgrade from 8gb to 16gb for gaming.
