Hello, so recently i changed my graphics card from an old nvidia one to AMD HD5870. When i start up my computer everything seems good. I can do stuff on Microsoft Word and use other programs like that but when i open up my internet my pc just freezes. My PC isnt heating up either and im not doing anything power consuming on the internet. After i changed my graphics card i had that problem aswell but after reinstalling drivers i got everything working for 2 weeks and yesterday it started doing the same.

My specs:

AMD HD5870
AMD Athlon(tm) 7750 Dual-Core Processor 2.7GHz
4GB RAM
Windows 10 64-bit
500W PSU

Before the problem started again i had a worse PSU installed and it worket but even after getting a new PSU that was better it still didnt get better. I also tried reinstalling the drivers and uninstalled the windows update after which the problem started but nothing.

I hope someone can help me with this because im totally out of ideas.

Im sorry to tell you this but you should definitly format that PC and install WINDOWS 7 64 bit insteado of windows 10. And then charge up all its drivers and i guarantee it will not have anymore troubles.

Windows 10 is by far the worst compatibility OS released atm, it literally SUCKS. It mess with all drivers, it just automatically and randomly blue screens, etc.

Hope it helped you.

Well since i have nothing to lose and i dont think windows 7 is a bad OS, I might as well try it.

Thank you for the suggestion.

So the problem seems to be with the internet. After some experimenting all games run fine but if i open up Google Chrome, everything just freezes. Im going to try using firefox and see if the problem continues.
