Dear experts,

I'm in a situation where I need an internal USB port on my laptop. I have taken a couple of high resoulution pictures.

How exactly would this hidden modem inside your laptop connect to outside networks?

When you say modem do you mean wifi? If so you can get very small usb wifi sticks very small to work on the externals.

Most labtops have one of these tho. No the back side of your laptop you should have removable panels with access to install one of these wifi cards.

By your specs you should already have 802.11b/g/n (1x1) and Bluetooth 4.0 combo.

It's for a 4G modem

You can replace the wifi card with a 4G lte card but you may be better off using the wifi with teethering or wifi hotspot. I've not seen a mini PCIE 4G modem with wifi yet.
