Firstly yes i looked around the forums and have tried these things already:
My OS is windows 8.1
-Uninstalling and reinstalling drivers
-ipconfig /release and ipconfig /renew in command prompt
- netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt in command prompt then rebooting
-Disable and enabled my network card
- IPv4 and IPv6 are both set to obtain IP address automatically
- Tried another Ethernet cable
- Disable anti virus
