Hey, I'm a console gamer new to pc and an absolute noob. I build a gtx1060 at first but then changed my mind as I wanted 144hz which gtx1060 doesn't support. So, this is my final build nd I wanted to check if the wattage is enough for my build. This is my build:

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/rYff2R

Please give me any other advice that you with my build. I want a blue color build with 144hz 1080p and a gtx1070. I wanna play games like GTAV, Ark: Survivial Evolved, 7days to die, BF1. I wish I get more than 60fps, maybe 120 or so and I will be good with max or near max settings.

WHat about the build, is everything ok and will I get atleast 120p when playing bf1, gtaV.I know its gonna be hard to get 144 even if my monitor says it. I'm gonna be playing many games and also doing youtube, recording, editing and all those stuff as well. Is a 24'' good or do I need to get a 27''.

Well, I heard that the i7 and the i5 don't have much difference and my bidget was 1500 and now it is 1600....I don't want it to be more.
Why do you want me to get a Cryorig H7 CPU Cooler instead of the one I currently have?
And one more question, I have the Asus gtx1070 and does this have an 8-pin because I heard 8-pin was really good and if it is can u check if my powersupply will take an 8-pin?...thank you for your time!

it depends on the games. basically no game until 2015 could make use of the i7
over the last year there were some games that utilize all the threads the i7 offers and shows some improvements, especially aiming for 144Hz in Dx12 titles (BF1, Cities:Sky, Doom to name 3)
if the budget doesn't allow for an i7 it's no drama. I'm just putting it out there.

the Cryorig has several advantages:
it's smaller and lighter
has a better cooling performance
is easier to mount (the 212 is a b**** to mount)
has no RAM interference
and runs quieter

if you're going for a blue build, look if you can pick up a Palit Gamerock. it's usually cheaper than the Asus and one of the best cooled cards out there.
if not stick with the ASUS (or if you don't like the Palit aesthetically)

the PSU should come with 2x 6+2(8)Pin connector.

I just wanted a blue build on the outside and stuff but not specifically in the inside, I mean if the Palit is a better one than Asus then I will buy it, but if it is less then no. I think that the asus has little LED that can change to blue color, so I am fine with that

i7-7700K and GTX1080 combo will last you long and will provide real 144Hz gaming experience at very high settings for longer time.

Get Windows from Kinguin. Don't forget to get Kinguin buyers protection for few extra bucks and you are good to go. Been using it.

If you can spend $80 more get the below listed monitor.
Monitor: Asus VG248QE 24.0" 1920x1080 144Hz Monitor ($269.00 @ B&H)

Bro,ur kidding me, I just felt like I'm finished. WHY??!! Anyways, how many years do u think my build will do vs ur build.
The headset, I will be buying what I picked cause it costs 36 on amazon and not 90.
The monitor, whats the difference, my budget is 1500, ill stick with acer.
I need 2TB HDD, ima do a lot of videos, YouTube.
Case, fans, they said 200mm fans are good or a lot of 120mm fans, I like the case, if you can find a better one I will go with that.
My dad is gonna be so mad...back to the build
I like the keyboard, ill look into that. its gonna be one of those two, they are both the same in my perspective. I like to see the structure for gaming and design and all those stuff. The keyboard is also a lot less than what it shows on pcpartpicker.
Why did u pick a different optical drive?
And finally, the CPU, Video Card, and the MOBO
What do I say, is it really that good, I just want it to be higher than 100, is it gonna go below 100 after 3-5 years. If yes, then ima go with gtx1080 and 7700k, or else ima go with gtx 1070 and 6600k

Building a computer takes so much time, ughhh, that's pretty much it. Thank you for your suggestions!

To give you detailed information.

GTX1070 is not able to hit 80+ fps in many GPU intensive games like Crysis 3 Witcher3 Hitman and many more at ultra settings. GTX1080 is able to provide somewhere above 100fps at ultra settings in same games. There is 30% gain in games with GTX1080.

Even at high-very high Settings if not ultra GTX1070 will provide near to 100fps for ony 2-3Years whereas GTX1080 will last you 4-5Yrs.

There is a big performance gain when you compare GTX1080 to GTX1070.

HDD can be added down the lane as per the requirement.

Case the one I provided is of very high quality. Get it.

No, Dad will not be mad if you are able to make him avoid paying again for a upgrade for a long time. Instead of upgrading again in a short run.

Headphones and Keyboard are of your choice.

Monitor Quality wise I prefer ASUS over Acer as ASUS have better build quality. But Acer is also of good quality don't worry.

And CPU wise I would say going with i7-7700K will make lot more sense. It is far better in performance than i5-6600K.
There is good 75% overall performance gain with i7-7700K over i5-6600K.

The 1070 can deliver >100fps in 1080p in any game.
I know that because I own one. And Hitman is one of my favorite games.

Apart from that the build is pretty good.
Personally I'd like a somewhat better board. Not a fan of too low end boards.

But going for a 1070 will bring you below 1600$ and would allow for a better board like a Gigabyte Aorus Gaming (K)3 or an AsRock Fatality or an Asus Prime.

It can at probably at High+ settings but not at ultra.

As it being a new PC one would like to play games at ultra settings for at least few months or a year before he has to bring down the settings to high+.
60fps+ yes GTX1070 is good but for 100fps+ it is not.

That's the final.
Case, The fractal design had compatible issues with the gtx1080, 188mm vs 275mm, the one I picked is good isn't it?
PSU, will a 550W be ok, or do I have to go for a 600w or 650w.
The final price, the prices u said are not accurate when I went into their website. Newegg, u sais the mobo was 180, it showed up ad 270. So, my final price is 1900, rip my life. Is there any modifications that u can do to lower the price?

its likely thayt I will never upgrade anything. my dad wont let me, that's why I'm getting everything now, even the HDD.

Yes I know and understand, most of the people in my country India buy a PC and hope it works smoothly for a very long time. Therefore I provide my friends and customers best possible build performance and quality wise even if I have to push their budget up. Nearly all of them agree to increase their budget by a bit if they are getting better performance build which will last longer.
