It works almost as same as any other Y-splitter.

Black wire - ground
Red wire - power
Yellow wire - control (PWM signal)

With this specific Y-splitter, both 3-pin PWM fans will run in sync. If you change the PWM settings through software then both fans change their speed accordingly while being in sync.

If you use Y-splitter that doesn't have yellow wire to the 2nd fan then 2nd fan will run 100% all the time.
